2011 WINTER SHADOW ART FAIR NEWS: KRAMPUS EDITION / November 22, 2011

Hello from the Shadow Art Fair

The Krampus Costume Ball (presented by the Shadow Art Fair) is coming up, on Saturday, December 17 beginning at 7pm at the Corner Brewery (720 Norris Street), and ending at Woodruff’s (36 E. Cross), both in Ypsilanti.

What’s this Krampus Costume Ball, you say? It’s this thing where you make yourself a costume, come to the Corner Brewery, dance, drink beer, have fun, march through Ypsi with the Detroit Party Marching Band, have fun, end up at Woodruff’s for a drag show, have more fun. Here’s some photos and a post-event write-up and video of last year's march, ok?

Logan The Brewing Man is taking suggestions for the "flavors" of this year’s Naughty & Nice beers. You can visit the Corner Brewery and leave your ideas on paper in a box on the bar, old-fashioned-style, or you can post your suggestions electronically here, or reply to this email.

We are looking for volunteers to help with set-up and various things during the event. Please email info@shadowartfair.com if you are interested in helping out.

Our poster is in the works and will be printed by the illustrious VGKids.

How are your costumes coming along? We were super impressed with everyone’s costumes last year. The bar has been set high — can you top yourselves? Let us know how it’s going on our Facesbook and Flickr pages. You can stay updated and converse about the event on our Facesbook page, too.

Hope to see you there!

Love, your MIDMI pals,

Mark, Jennifer, Molly, Tim, Chris, & Melissa
