Hello from the Shadow Art Fair

The Shadow Art Fair is coming, this Saturday, July 21 noon – midnight at the Corner Brewery (720 Norris Street) in Ypsilanti. Check out our website to see the list of artists that will be presenting their work. Also available will be Shadow Art Fair posters and t-shirts featuring this round’s winning design by FM Dust, and printed by one of our sponsors, VGKids.

Admission to the event is 2¢, and helps fund our Shadow Arts Grant.

Just a reminder that those under 21 must be accompanied by a parent at the Brewery.

What’s happening?

In addition to the 12 hours of fabulous art provided by our artist vendors, the following will also be happening at the Corner Brewery:

• 2:00pmish – 10:00pmish: Musical & other performances

  As usual for the Summer Shadow, we will have musical & other performances outside in the Beer Garden. Many thanks to Ian Fulcher for curating the lineup. In no particular order:

• 10:00pmish – 11:00pmish: 50th AAFF Tour

  Catch a selection of short films from the upcoming 50th Ann Arbor Film Fest Traveling Tour programs. Films to be screened include "Life and Freaky Times of Uncle Luke," "The Deep Dark," and "Moxie."

Shadow Brew tapped at 6pm

Supplies are limited. The Shadow Brew is released at 6:00pm at the Brewery and typically sells out quickly. Act accordingly if you’re interested in trying it.

As always, a portion of sales from the Shadow Brews goes toward our Shadow Arts Grant. Many thanks to brewer Logan Schaedig.
